Bright Stars Children Centre is a small not for profit preschool for children ages 3-5, which has been in operation since 1962. At Bright Stars Children Centre our goal is to provide a service for you and your children that will fit your needs. We are always available and open to any special arrangements that you may require. Our bright, spacious children's centre is equipped with the most modern materials available that offer lots of exciting options for children to play and learn.

We are extremely lucky to have Ms. Michele Ernst as our teacher. Michele joined the school during the 2005 school year and has become our school's most important asset. She brings to the school years of experience, excellent credentials and a strong desire to ensure that the school will continue for future generations. Not only do the children love her, but she has great spirit, vitality and a seemingly endless enthusiasm for the school.

In the summer of 2005, the school underwent a "facelift" with the whole interior of the school being repainted as well as a number of other renovations. We continue to keep growing in the fall of 2006 by adding a second class for our 4 and 5 year olds in the afternoons, bringing us to over 30 families that become a part of the school.

Also, we have added a full-time teacher's aide to our staff in order to offer the children a more consistent learning environment.

Our 2010-2011 school year is bringing about changes again. For the first time we will have 2 qualified ECE staff.
The dynamic duo work amazing together, between their love of children and their creativitythey are unmatched.

We are a small but mighty school and are continuing to look for ways to improve and grow.
