Director/Teacher: Michele Ernst

Teacher's Aide: Trudi Inglis

 

 

We would like to introduce you to our Director / Teacher... Michele Ernst.

Originally from Cape Breton now living on First Peninsula, not only does Michele have her Diploma in Early Childhood Education, but she actually taught the ECE course in Halifax. After moving to this area she worked at putting together educational books and tapes for children for the Assistive Technology Centre.

Michele's professional and volunteer experience is incredible:  she was an Assistant Director and Teacher of Cheryl's Pre-School in North Sydney, a tutor for visually impaired and other special needs children, she has been involved with licensing day cares, teaching school-age children and teaching adults with special needs.  Michele also has a diploma in Special Education, and only requires two more credits to complete her Bachelor of Child and Youth Studies. Michele is a very likeable person who truly loves working with children.

We are fortunate to have Trudi Inglis as our teacher assistant.
